We are delighted to welcome you to the camping La Capricieuse, our campsite in the Calvados! We have done everything possible to ensure that your holiday will be quite simply exceptional. So, what do you need to be happy? A bathing area? You’ll love ours, 1,500m² with 3 swimming pools including 2 that are covered and heated. The sea? Naturally in Normandy, it’s always a pleasure and it’s only 100m from the campsite.

During your stay in Normandy, you’re certain to fall in love with the natural beauty of the area. There are a host of exceptional sights to explore, such as the Côte de Nacre, Mont-Saint-Michel and Falaise Castle… Plus of course, all the fascinating towns so rich in character: Bayeux and its famous tapestry, Deauville and its charming narrow streets, Honfleur and its unusual houses.
Normandy is also a land rich in history, so come and tread in the footsteps of its incredible past. The D-Day beaches: Juno Beach, Omaha Beach, Utah Beach…, the American cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, the Caen Memorial… each with its own special ambiance, each steeped in emotion.
And for trips out with the family? Calvados is brimming with fun and amusing activities. The kids adore animals? Take them to the Cerza Zoo or the Naturospace to meet its butterflies and birds. Treat those who enjoy the sweet things in life to a visit to the Caramel Museum. Oh yes, you can taste as well as look! And there are plenty of other places to visit, always certain to please: William the Conqueror’s castle, a leisure park or a cider factory… But beware, once you’ve visited Normandy you may never want to leave!
